Evolutix’s Cookie Policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website asks your browser to store on your computer or mobile device, and therefore, it is a very simple text file, whose composition depends directly on the content of the visited Web address. The cookie allows the website to “remember” user actions or preferences over time.

Why does Evolutix use cookies?

We use cookies to understand how the user of the Evolutix website interacts with our content and to improve their experience when visiting our site(s). Evolutix uses cookies for geolocation tracking, to identify the user’s nearest Evolutix unit for hiring.

What types of cookies does Evolutix use?

Evolutix uses both first-party and third-party cookies on our website. First-party cookies are cookies issued from the domain, which are generally used to identify language and location preferences or to render basic site functionality. Third-party cookies belong to and are managed by other parties, such as Evolutix’s business partners or service providers. These cookies may be necessary to process certain forms, such as submitting a job application, or to enable some advertising outside Evolutix’s website.

Session Cookies

Session cookies are temporary cookies used to remember the user during their visit to the site and expire when you close the browser.

Persistent Cookies

Persistent cookies are used to remember user preferences within the site and remain on your desktop or mobile device even after you close the browser or restart the computer. Evolutix uses these cookies to analyze user behavior and establish visit patterns so that we can improve the functionality of our site for you and other people who visit our site(s). These cookies also allow us to serve you with targeted advertising and measure the effectiveness of our site’s functionality and advertising.

How are cookies used for advertising purposes?

Cookies and advertising technology, such as web beacons, pixels, and anonymous ad network tags, help us deliver relevant advertising to you more effectively. They also help us collect aggregated audit data, research, and performance reports for advertisers. Pixels allow us to understand and improve ad delivery to you and know when certain ads have been shown to the user. As your web browser can request ads and web beacons directly from ad network servers, these networks can view, edit, or set their own cookies, as if you had requested a web page on their site. While we do not use cookies to create a profile of your browsing behavior on third-party sites, Evolutix uses aggregated data from third parties to show you relevant advertising based on interests. Evolutix does not provide any personal information it collects from its partners and potential advertisers. The user can opt-out of third-party advertising and off-site advertising by adjusting their cookie settings. Disabling will not remove ads from the pages you visit, but instead, disabling will cause the ads you see not to match your interests.

How are third-party cookies used?

For some functions on our websites, we use third-party providers, for example, when you visit a page with embedded videos or links to YouTube. These videos or links (and any other content from third-party providers) may contain third-party cookies, and we encourage you to consult the privacy policies of these third-party providers on their websites for information about cookie usage.

How do I reject and delete cookies?

The user can choose to reject or block all specific types of cookies set in relation to their visit to an Evolutix website by clicking on cookie preferences on our website(s). The user can change their preferences for Evolutix sites and/or third-party sites and prevent cookies from being set in the future by changing the user’s browser settings.
